The CUNY ASRC Community Sensor Lab is a workshop series that works with high school students and community members to build low-cost, DIY environmental monitoring sensors. These sensors are critically relevant in a time when our world is gripped by crises that reveal the interconnections of health and environmental injustice. Our curriculum aims to build technical skills in electronics and programming and also grow confidence in self-advocacy through data literacy, analysis and presentation.
