What to expect?
The ASRC IlluminationSpace field trip program welcomes hundreds of visitors each year, both virtually and in person to our interactive educational center located on the first floor of our facility.
Visitors to the ASRC IlluminationSpace explore five exciting and interconnected areas of science — nanoscience, photonics, structural biology, neuroscience, and environmental sciences — in a fun and supportive environment to encourage a deeper understanding of how science shapes our everyday lives.
This experience is FREE, open to middle, high school and undergraduate groups. Tours are 2 hours in length and introduces the participants to CUNY and the mission of interdisciplinary research at the ASRC.
