Achilles Ntranos, a neurology fellow at Mount Sinai Health System in collaboration with the ASRC’s Neuroscience Initiative, was selected to present his research in a block symposium at Immunology 2018, the leading annual all-immunology event organized by the American Association of Immunologists (AAI), held from May 4 to 8 in Austin, Texas.
The American Association of Immunologists, founded in 1913, is dedicated to advancing the field of immunology and fostering the development of researchers at every career stage. The annual conference provides a platform to push the boundaries of knowledge in the field of immunology and spark innovation. AAI selects less than a third of all submitted abstracts for the conference’s popular block symposia.
“I am truly honored to be selected to present my research findings at Immunology 2018,” Achilles said. “My research on the interplay between metabolism and epigenetics could provide insight into immune system modulation and the development of autoimmune diseases.”
