The Advanced Science Research Center hosted a “Town Hall” meeting on November 20th, opening its doors for the first time to faculty from across the University. The meeting was designed to engage the CUNY community with the ASRC and explain how to take advantage of the center’s world-class facilities. This afternoon event included a tour of the building, in addition to presentations from ASRC Executive Director Gillian Small, as well as each of the appointed ASRC Initiative Directors, Kevin Gardner, Director of Structural Biology; Rein Ulijn, Director of Nanoscience; and Charles Vörösmarty, Director of Environmental Sciences.
