Salam Elhalabi
Salam is a graduate of CCNY, holding two degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering. She has previously worked in roles and industries including automotive, agriculture and manufacturing for commercial buildings and prior to joining the ASRC she worked in the Makerspace at CCNY. In her new role in the ASRC Nanofabrication Facility she will assist in all aspects of maintaining and operating the lab, though her main area of concentration will be developing baseline recipes and processes for the etching and deposition tools. When not in the lab, Salam likes to work on custom engravings with laser and vinyl cutters and plays the trumpet in community bands.
