Elliot Quinteros
Elliot received his B.S. and M.S. in Forensic Science, both with a focus in Toxicology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. His master’s thesis was the construction of an Arduino powered instrument for the detection of illicit substances under the supervision of Dr. Marcel Roberts. He also received a M.S. in Chemistry from City College. His master’s thesis was the creation of a database of fountain pen ink for forensic identification and comparison using UV-Vis Spectroscopy, ATR-FTIR Spectroscopy and Thin Layer Chromatography. This was done under the supervision of Dr. John Lombardi and Dr. Thomas Kubic. He was previously employed as a College Laboratory Technician for Instrumental Analysis at John Jay College.
