- Doctoral Student, Ulijn Lab, Nanoscience Initiative
Richard is a Ph.D. student in the Ulijn group. Co-advised by Dr. Stephen O’Brien from CDI of City College, he currently is working on the design and synthesis of enzyme responsive peptide functionalized gold nanoparticles for cancer theranostics. Prior to joining CUNY’s Ph.D. program, Richard received his B.S. in biochemistry from Miami University and M.S. in chemistry from Long Island University. Besides research, Richard likes hiking and travelling.
